Kua Notify

Privacy Policy

Kua Notify ("Kua Notify", "we", "us") is a WhatsApp notification platform operated by KUA SPA (Chile). Businesses connect their own WhatsApp Business account and use Kua Notify to create message templates and send notifications to their opted-in contacts, either from our dashboard or through our API. This policy explains what information we process and how we protect it.

Information we process

• Account data. The email address you use to sign in (via our identity provider) and basic profile information.
• WhatsApp connection credentials. The WhatsApp Business Account ID, Phone Number ID and access token you provide to connect your number. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to send messages and manage templates on your behalf.
• Contacts you add. The names and phone numbers of the recipients you choose to notify. You are responsible for having each recipient's consent to be contacted.
• Message and template activity. A log of the notifications you send and the templates you create, including timestamps, delivery status and message identifiers.

How we use this information

We use it solely to operate the service: to authenticate you, connect your WhatsApp number, create and manage message templates, deliver the notifications you send, and show you their status. We do not use your contacts for our own marketing and we do not send messages on our own behalf.

WhatsApp Business Platform

Kua Notify sends messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). When you send a notification, the recipient's phone number and message content are transmitted to Meta to deliver the message, subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policies. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.

Acting as a technology provider

When a business onboards through Kua Notify, we act as a technology provider and process WhatsApp Business data (templates, phone numbers, message activity) on that business's behalf and under its instructions. Each connected business's data is isolated from other businesses.

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors strictly needed to run the service — principally Meta (to deliver WhatsApp messages) and our hosting and infrastructure providers — and where required by law.

Security

Access to the dashboard requires authentication. WhatsApp access tokens are encrypted at rest, each workspace's data is isolated, and programmatic access uses per-workspace API keys that you can rotate at any time.

Retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect your WhatsApp number, remove contacts, and delete your workspace data at any time. See Data Deletion for how to request full deletion.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. Recipients who no longer wish to be contacted can be removed by the business that added them, or can contact us directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
